In late 2007, plans were laid to further expand and focus 5-Trees LLC as a thought leader in the area of environmental compliance for technology products. The new name, Botsford EcoTech Partners, reflects the expertise and the partnerships that founder Krista Botsford has developed over her years working in the eco-compliance field; it also represents the ability of the company to meet all the eco-compliance needs of its clients.
Botsford will be among several industry leaders and experts giving presentations at the IPC's Challenges of Going Green Event. This event is being held in conjunction with the Consumer Electronics Show. She will provide an update and overview of the "hot" environmental regulations and directives effecting electronics manufacturers and their suppliers. Visit the IPC event Calendar for more details.
Botsford will be one of several experts gathering at the 5th annual Medical Electronics Symposium January 29-30, 2008 in Anaheim, CA. She will be speaking on her recent paper: Medical Devices and Eco-Compliance: A Proactive Approach. The paper discusses how the medical device industry is able to take a proactive approach to eco-compliance, learning from activities other industries have engaged over the past several years. Visit the SMTA website for more details.
