EP endorses 1st reading of RoHS Recast text

The European Par on Wednesday, 24 Nov 2010, endorsed the text for the RoHS Directive recast. EU is now poised to revise the RoHS directive with Parliament's endorsement. The endorsement was by an overwhelming majority - 640 votes in favor, 3 against and 12 abstentions.
